Dise\u00f1ar, implementar y evaluar los planes y proyectos recreativos y deportivos para la comunidad del Territorio Insular Francisco de Miranda, de manera concertada con los estamentos deportivos nacionales.<\/li>
Promocionar las actividades recreativas y deportivas mediante la vinculaci\u00f3n de organismos p\u00fablicos y privados dedicados al fomento de estas formas de expresi\u00f3n.<\/li>
Elaborar e implementar programas para estimular las pr\u00e1cticas recreativas y el aprovechamiento de los escenarios recreativos para la integraci\u00f3n comunitaria y el fortalecimiento del tejido social por medio de actividades l\u00fadicas.<\/li>
Promover la actividad f\u00edsica y deportiva en personas con discapacidad f\u00edsica y ps\u00edquica.<\/li>
Establecer comunicaci\u00f3n permanente con las instituciones deportivas y los establecimientos del sector educativo, para el desarrollo de las actividades deportivas y recreativas.<\/li>
Prestar asistencia t\u00e9cnica a los diferentes estamentos u organizaciones de \u00edndole recreativa y deportivo.<\/li>
Coordinar con el Ministerio del Poder Popular para el Deporte, la ejecuci\u00f3n de obras para la construcci\u00f3n, ampliaci\u00f3n y mejoramiento de instalaciones deportivas en el Territorio.<\/li>
